It is a non-invasive, hands-on (or hands-above) technique where the practitioner channels energy through their hands to the client to help remove energetic blockages, restore balance, and stimulate the body’s natural healing process.
In a full Reiki session, there are traditionally 15 to 20 standard hand positions, although the exact number may vary slightly depending on the practitioner’s style, training, and the client’s needs.
